(formerly known as Continental Express Airlines, Inc). During my career, I had the pleasure of working in the Continental Express (COEX) Flight Operation's Crew Resource Management Department. There, I served as a critical communication developer and trainer with the former Continental Express Airlines Crew Resource Management Development Team. The FAA mandated CRM programs we developed were one of the first of its kind in the airline industry. As a critical communication developer and trainer, I worked with the (former) COEX CRM development team as well as the (former) Continental Airlines CRM Development team helping to design some of the first FAA mandated critical communication training programs for pilots and flight attendants. The program was well received by crew members. Pilots and flight attendants agree: "When the sh*t hits the fan, communication is critical!" CRM based training is currently mandated and regulated by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
