I was able to demonstrate proficient supervisory and organisational skills as both Deputy Team Leader and Team Leader. These were extremely important given the high volumes experienced every month (c. 6000 employees as Deputy and c. 1000 as Lead). The team was comprised of up to 10 individuals, so their skill sets were very different; however, the one thing they had in common was that each person in the team was motivated to perform at their optimum level. As Team Leader, I achieved this by prioritising staff training and extending responsibility to each team member to ensure that they felt valued. So despite these volumes, the team established a reputation of making very few mistakes, having excellent customer satisfaction and high employee retention.
