I joined CEMEX (NYSE CX) in 1995; and was involved in all operative aspects of JDEdwards projects for the company. In June 1995 I started as a JDE programmer, by October same year I became software development project leader. At that time I was taking care of multicultural clients in countries like USA, Mexico, Spain and Colombia. In July 1997 I became Account Manager for CEMEX Mexico’s Controllership, to lead all kind of Technology projects.In the middle of 1998, I decided to go out into the freelancer market for JDEdwards software, Project Management and Business Process consulting. I successfully worked in countries like Japan, Sweden, Austria, Brazil, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, USA, Spain and Mexico.During the period September 2002 – February 2005 I co-founded two small IT companies; this for me represents knowledge and experience in technology products development, sales, R&D, back office processes and design of company strategy and tactics.From 2004 to 2009 I was strongly involved in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence projects mainly for BI strategy design and as project manager.From 2005 to 2009 I worked for CEMEX, playing a role as business process consultant and project manager (using PMI methodology). The projects managed were in the Corporate arena (World wide), and also for some specific countries like USA, Spain, Costa Rica and Mexico. Mainly ERP (SAP and JDEdwards), Business Intelligence and Business Process document and redesign.I have a Computer Science degree by the Physics and Mathematics School in the University of Nuevo Leon.
