Extensive experience in the field of financial markets. Currently Head of Asset Management at Arctica Finance in Iceland and started at Arctica in Capital markets in 2020. Worked as a senior inflation structurer at ABN AMRO in London from 2003-2006 and then as Head of Inflation Products USA at ABN AMRO in New York from 2006-2008 until moving to RBS in Greenwich trading inflation derivatives. Been responsible for developing and structuring inflation linked derivatives as well as trading and risk managing an inflation derivative book. Before Arctica Finance I worked as CEO in Iceland at GAMMA 2017-2019 and before that as Head of Fund Management GAMMA 2009-2017 managing Icelandic multi asset funds with the goal of preserving clients purchasing power and achieving a positive real return.Several published articles as well as co-authoring chapters in both RISK books about inflation: "Inflation Risks and Products - The Complete Guide" and "Inflation Linked Products: A Guide for Investors and Asset & Liability Managers".
