My name is Valencia Clark, and I want to take the time to introduce myself and tell you a little more about me. I have been studying film and video productions for nearly 8 years and can honestly say it’s my passion. Throughout this time, I have developed my skill through my work as a 1st and 2nd assistant director, grip, camera operator, production assistant, writer, and director of various projects at both the student and professional level. I am currently a student at the Academy of Art University and Pierce College. Through my studies, I hope to learn as much as I can and develop my skills in computer soft wares such as Final Cut Pro, Final Draft, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. In a consistent pursuit to learn, I am studying for an undergraduate degree in Writing for Film and Digital Media. With an expected graduation in the Fall of 2020, I hope to take courses designated to enhance my screenwriting ability but also help master various forms of written and verbal communication.I am looking for employment with a company that can provide me with an environment where I can continue to learn new skills and challenges for myself. Companies that carry a sense of community and team building are particular traits I am seeking from a future employer. I worked as a Solutions Specialist for Verizon Wireless and enjoyed my time there. For over three years I have had the opportunity to explore various forms of new technology and find solutions for any problems my clients may run into. Prior to my work with Verizon Wireless, I was a full-time student and worked a variety of part-time customer service driven jobs. I received an Associate’s Degree from El Camino College in Fine Arts- with an emphasis in Film and Video Production. I am looking forward to continuing this pursuit of knowledge. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you for taking this time.Sincerely,Valencia Clark
