The band feels like a tight family of skilled musicians who all want the same thing - making music together and enjoying the playfulness of every day.Apart from our own original songs we play tunes from Steely Dan, Mano Chao, the Police, Chili Peppers, the Cure, Jobim and Pink Floyd.

For this symphony I work with Dirk Hooglandt (arranger) and Philip de Goey (director).The pieces are based on numbers : nr 2 is in 2/4 beat, nr 3 in 3/4, nr 4 in 4/4 and so on until nr 12, a pianoconcerto in 12/4 beat with solos for kitchen tools. Since september 2017 we have performed this symphony in the area. In februari 2018 Vespucci Music released the Organic Symphony on cd, funded by stichting Orkamuze.

The Organic Orchestra plays my contemporary compositions with 16 musicians and artists. Founded in 2007 as the Cameleon Orchestra we emerged the repertoire towards a holistic symphony.This new born Organic Symphony combines classical, jazz, pop and repetitive sequences with organic cooking noises and challenges the audience to participate.

El Habib is a bridged music group with Atlantic, Arabic and Indian elements. The original ensemble with Alphons Wertwijn on tabla, Valentijn Steenhuis on piano, Mohammed Elhabib on vocals and Philip de Goey on windinstruments recorded one cd "Amsterdam" with moroccan folk, indian jazz and minimal music. Recently (2015) Mohammed has released a new single with new, more ethnic oriented musicians.

The piano was the first instrument that opened up my soul to the world of organised expression through sound. I was blessed with various pianoteachers as a kid, but really refined the skill by performing for an audience.
