- Perform high-quality welds in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards;- Supervise welding teams, providing training and guidance to ensure compliance with quality standards.- Implementation of new WPQR in accordance with standard 15614-1 and PT CR 7-2013.- Collaborate with the procurement department to select welding materials and appropriate equipment;- Issuing Technical Memoire for ISCIR in order to start welding activities in Romanian refineries;- Issuing of Particular Materials Appraisals;- Issuing the Request For Inspection, technical books, welding documentation and other related documents;- Visual and dye penetrant inspection of welds;- Coordinating and tracking of all NDT activities;- Checking painting and PWHT activities;- Preparation of welders performance test;- Monitor and evaluate welding equipment to ensure proper operation and recommend repairs or replacements, as needed;- Conduct a detailed cost assessment, encompassing expenses for non-destructive testing, heat treatment costs, consumable materials expenditure, and the requirement for specialized labor for each project;- Authorisation, keep tracking and maintaining validity of welders performance qualification;- Handling the external inspection from clients/third parties in different stages of the projects;- Checking the compliance of welding activities with specific procedure, codes and standards;- Dimensional, visual and material checking of welded spools;
