Designed and led the implementation of the migration plan for the telecom software (the platform responsible for allowing access for the customers to the telecom network) from a legacy script system to a new MSSQL procedure based API platform. Rewrote the entire interface of the sales platform with the telecom software to allow it to function with both platforms simultaneously thus allowing a controlled switch of the customers to the new platform.Part of a team responsible for building a large retail sales platform for telecom services like calling cards, voice over IP, SMS and virtual numbers. The system was build in Java using Spring MVC and Hibernate and consisted in a backend CRM and multiple online shops. Transactional data storage used Postgres SQL, CDR collection was done in Cassandra.

Designed and led the implementation for an auto and property claims processing system which resulted in 10% of all the auto claim files for comprehensive insurance contracts in Romania (2011 - 2016) to be processed by this system. The system was web-based and able to work with both the insurance companies and the loss adjusters. For loss adjusters, the system was able to work with multiple databases (one for each client) yet still present a unified interface to the users. Since 2010 the software was licensed to 12 insurance companies and loss adjusters (some of them being major players in the insurance market in Romania and Europe - ERGO Versicherung, PORSCHE Versicherung, AVUS International, GRAWE Versicherung). Designed and led the implementation of a comprehensive claims management system that handled the entire life cycle of a claim file in an insurance company. The solution was built using C# and MSSQL Server and had a dynamic architecture. The client was able to use the backend business services through direct, network or internet based connection using the same client. The system reduced the medium time needed for processing a claim file 3 days to 2 days. From a personal perspective, I am very proud that a system designed by me managed to prove its efficiency over time and technological advances and has been in use with very good results for more than 10 years in one of the biggest insurance companies in Europe.

Represented the company as a customer facing focal point for the upgrade of PRM for Telekom Romania from version 4 to version 5.. Responsible for first level analysis of customer change requests, provided solutions and development estimations. During the upgrade led the on site development team and provided technical expertise for bug fixing and testing support. Being the first client to upgrade to version 5 of PRM it was a big challenge and it ended up as a major achievement for myself and the PRM upgrade team.Provided a technical solution to the DBAs that reduced the data migration time from 48h to 8h.

Initiated and led a project for automated code generation for batch processes. The application was built in C# and was designed by discovering coding patterns in the company methodologies. The tool generated over 60% of the final code for common classes, over 90% of the final code for normal data access objects reaching 100% final code generation for simple data access objects. The use of the tool reduced by 25% the development time while increasing the code quality. Batch development (proprietary C++ extension) for PRM (Partner Relationship Manager) an interconnect solution for mobile and landline carriers.Web development for CM (Customer Management) the front end of Enabler (full stack product for mobile carriers) using EJB. Onsite and offsite support for major carriers across the world: FET Taiwan, Vodafone Hungary and Vodafone Netherlands.
