Suzano is the world’s largest supplier of bleached eucalyptus Kraft pulp. As a Technical Service Engineer, I assist our pulp and paper customers in fulfilling their needs.1) Customer service- Manage, coordinate and resolve the technical claims from the paper customers; coordinate the technical claims from the pulp customers: analyze, guide to the relevant departments, negotiate the costs, approve the credits, reply to customers and follow the implementation of the corrective’s actions. Report claim Performance Indicators and prepare periodical reports to the direction.- Manage the technical customer service for paper: improve and develop the claim handling system in close relationship with Suzano’s mill and international offices- Manage commercial relationship with paper customers and other company departments from a technical standpoint- Technical support visits- Provide assistance for best utilization of Suzano’s products- Answer requests and questionnaires, provide statements and certificates- Provide data and periodical reports according to the customer’s requests.2) Technical- Give technical support for Pre-sales and After-sales activities and enable sale forces- Coordinate technical cooperation projects with strategic customers, interacting with the industrial process areas, R&D and the sales department.3) Market- Identify technical tendencies and opportunities for new applications of pulp, paper and board products throughout the various markets and applications and interact with the competent channels (R&D, Marketing and others) to explore opportunities for the organization. Contribute to the improvement of production process and development of new products.- Coordinate technical cooperation projects with strategic customers, interacting with the industrial process areas, R&D and the sales department.

Within a sustainable development approach, petroleum-based materials need to be replaced by bio-based ones. Those can be produced by assembling green building blocks such as monosaccharides that can be found inside wood cells in the form of oligosaccharidic hemicelluloses.
