Querétaro, Continuous improvement leader, bending and end forming pipe area, I am in charge of selecting the pilot areas trough Cost Deployment and Value Stream Mapping, identifying the most significant losses, defining the projects to be implemented, ensure the understanding of problems, root causes identification, finding of solutions, select the improvement tools to use, negotiate whit the areas involved to assign personal needed for the integration of multidisciplinary teams, document the skills matrix of different team members, define the traning plan, request and give training to team members, design the strategies for the implementation of improvement projects, establish key performance indicators for projects, tracking and deploy projects’ indicators, follow up task implementation in the shop floor, ensure execution of operations according to the new standards, check headlines for continuous improvement projects, take corrective and preventive actions in the continuous improvement projects, negotiate resource allowance with managers and general director, present monthly reports of projects to managers and general director, make lateral spread of projects, award people for results in projects in the monthly meetings, in a six month period we duplicate production volume in bending area from 8,000.00 pieces per day in average to 15,800.00 pieces per day in average.

Querétaro, Querétaro, Manufacturing Manager in Aeronautical Pipe Plant, landing gear, intake and exhaust turbine aircraft, managing a team of 5 engineers, I had the responsibility of developing and implementing the Industrialization plan of Queretaro Plant, which will be the role model globally, I’m responsible for defining the needs of new equipment acquisition and tuning, setting short and medium term goals for the department, we design and implement improvement projects in place, presenting reports and cost reduction projects to senior management, we implemented a SMED system in pipe bending area also manage a 100% increase in production volume and eliminate the need to buy a new bending machine, design and make changes to the layout, designs of work stations, follow up OEE indicators, development life plans of manufacturing team members, establish poka yoke systems, elaborate FMEA and control plans in plant, I have experience with the manufacture of metals such as titanium, inconel, stainless steel, carbon steel and aluminum, with orbital welding, micro wire welding, induction brazing and brazing, with the interpretation of drawings we develop, validate and transfer on average 30 part numbers per month from Spain Plant to Mexico Plant, interpretation of measurement reports.
