Lead On Ot Security Project For Gsk Belgium Qc
CurrentMy main role within a team of 5 people is to oversee activities related to the obsolescence of analytical computers that are connected to analytical QC equipment. Our activities relate to the replacement of obsolete computers with newer computers with a newer Microsoft Windows version as well as newer analytical software. We are taking advantage of these changes to also install these new workstations on a new, more secure computer network called "OTN".All these activities are subject to numerous B2B and B2C interactions, in particular for:- Reflect and propose the creation of new VLANs to strategically segregate the computer network.- Think about and propose the implementation of new physical or virtual servers and have them implemented- Think about and propose firewall rules to be put in place to filter incoming and outgoing access to new VLANs according to their usefulness and have them implemented- Write technical documents for new infrastructures- Have the Ethernet sockets of the QC connected to the new OT switches according to the ports configured for each new VLANs- Set up the new computers with their respective analytical software, thinking about how to deploy them according to the number of solutions per family of equipment.- Understand analytical software, understand what are the critical data of the system to set up a PowerShell type backup driven by a customized Windows service.- Sign PowerShell scripts digitally to ensure their integrity.- Securing the Windows directories linked to software installations to segregate access to them according to the type of user.- Write documents allowing anyone to put a system back in place from scratch.- Provide support to end users when they encounter the slightest problem with PCs, software or equipment.
