I’m currently looking for opportunities in the field of sustainability, social impact or impact investing. I strongly believe the knowledge I’ve gained as a lawyer and in my MBA and finance studies makes me a suitable and prepared candidate to work in this field. I started my career as a lawyer where I had the opportunity to work as a legal counselor for several public and private entities in Colombia. There I contributed to various development projects related to social and public affairs across several sectors such as infrastructure, telecommunications, technology, oil and gas. I have the ability to quickly familiarize with new information and adjust my working methods depending on the needs of the each project. After perusing a master degree on finance and after some years of experience as a lawyer, I realized I truly wanted to work on social and development projects from a holistic point of view, reason to pursue my MBA. During my MBA at ESADE, I developed a completely new mindset. I had the opportunity to discover new disciplines, work with people from diverse backgrounds and develop my capacity and interest to drive meaningful social changes through social innovation and impact investing. I want to use my interdisciplinary knowledge, my previous experience and the recently acquired capacities to help innovative projects that are focused on having a positive impact on society.
