Italian, Milan-based fashion designer specialized in knitwear. Currently in my final year of the Design for the Fashion System MSc at Politecnico di Milano. During my university studies, I have gained knowledge in a wide range of areas of the Fashion System.After attending a Transmedia Storytelling course at PoliMi, I had the chance to dive deeper into branding and marketing during my exchange semester at the University for the Creative Arts in the UK. In the first year of my Master’s degree, I completed an exchange semester at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, where I developed my draping skills, learnt couture sewing and embellishment techniques, and explored the world of Fashion Styling.I have also participated in extra-curricular projects, such as the PLURIFORM project, during which I was part of an interdisciplinary team with young product and service designers from the University of Bologna. During the 6 months of the project’s duration, I put my training into practice by leading my team in designing uniforms, accessories and an integrated service for the Trenitalia Tper personnel. A strong focus was placed on functional design, material choices in line with the supply chain and savoir-faire of the Emilia Romagna region, and creating a strong team identity.As a foundation for these experiences, living in Zurich, Switzerland during my high school years allowed me to feel at ease in international and dynamic environments, which I now actively seek.As a designer, I am passionate about the opportunities knitwear offers in terms of creativity and innovation through colour, fit and materials. I consider fashion to be intrinsically entangled with each person's experience of the world around them.
