Senior Medical Translator
CurrentTranslator of clinical trial-related documents and patient materials across multiple therapeutic areas, working remotely. Conference interpreter at Investigator Meetings. Translation project management savvy. Investing linguistic knowledge and willing to go the extra mile in order to make the process of bringing novel pharmaceutical products on the market as smooth as possible, while sharing PSI's core values: delivering "wow" service, being a teammate, being excellent and humble, excelling in communication, staying lean.Key responsibilities:- Project management for translations from/into Romanian, Spanish and Portuguese locales, covering all steps of the process (preparing documents for translation, estimating turnaround time, shifting priorities if necessary, placing translation requests with selected freelancers/global translation agencies, checking quotations and pricing, running a final eye on deliverables, solving invoicing issues, keeping trackers up to date)- Document translation, review and proofreading for clinical trials conducted in Romania and Moldova (Protocol Synopsis, Informed Consent Forms, drug labels, Clinical Trial Agreements, RA/EC correspondence, import/export permits, Principal Investigator and site credentials, patient information and recruitment materials, source documents, legal documentation, lab normal ranges, test results, SAE reports etc.)- Customization of translations for localization purposes- Primary contact and bottleneck solver of translation-related issues both for project teams within PSI and for linguists providing translation services to PSI- Simultaneous interpreting at meetings and medical reunions organized in Romania and abroad- Communication with company staff, clients and vendors on translation/interpreting matters- Linguistic support/aid in the areas of competence.
