Testing new dual selective markers in E. Coli in order to alter metabolic pathways in different strains of E. Coli. Performs PCR, Gel Electrophoresis, genetic transformations of plasmids and oligonucleotides.

Created 3D synthetic micro-environments for human liver and pancreatic beta cells to grow on. The liver and pancreatic tissue was later used in a microfluidic platform connecting engineered tissue from 10 organs, and used to test the effects of drugs on different parts of the body
