Profile bio

About Federico Valentini

Ever since I first saw off-road bikes in the forest near my house in Canada where I was born and brought-up, I have been dreaming, drawing, riding and (for the last 15 years) working with motorcycles ever since. Being a huge motorcycle enthusiast, I feel I have been extremely fortunate to work for some of the best and most iconic motorcycle brands in the world. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought to be able to work for brands such as KTM, Husqvarna, Ducati and MV Agusta, as well as having worked together with Harley Davidson when they owned MV, and BMW when they owned Husqvarna. It's been an amazing ride, and I have no intention of slowing down!I’m currently the Vice President Global Motorcycle Marketing for all KTM Group motorcycle brands. Working for such incredibly successful brands in all facets of marketing and communication, ranging from product launches to motorsport communication, and working with extremely talented teams, is very motivating, I learn something new every day, and I absolutely love motivating and guiding my young team members in their path in the motorcycle industry.I’m what you would call a petrol-head. I am passionate about anything with an engine: cars, motorcycles, planes, boats. I’m also a fitness fanatic and love all kinds of different sports. I spend 3 or 4 evenings in the gym every week, I love racket sports, and bicycles take-up a significant part of my free-time as well. Living in Austria, skiing is obviously my number 1 winter sport.I have lived in five different countries and speak English, Italian and French, and I’m currently working on my German, which is at a basic level but allows me to get by in my everyday life in Austria. Travelling, seeing new places, meeting new people and learning new cultures are a big part of my life.My specialties include launch campaigns, media launches and presentations, brand presentations, digital marketing, trade marketing, product management, product positioning, market data analysis, competitive analysis, product presentations, public speaking, technical writing for press kits, brochures, leading teams, guiding and training team members.

Listed skills include Product Development, Product Management, Competitive Analysis, Marketing, and 15 others.
