The first phase of a $20-billion project to build a semiconductor manufacturing plants in central Ohio. Phase 1 of the project will include design and construction of 2.5 million square feet. At Project Cardinal also know as Ohio One, I started as the sole planner for all major subcontractors. As the subcontract planner I was responsible for creating, managing and reporting schedule and progress to our Project Management Team (PMT). In addition to monitoring progress throughout the BEA cycle, I was given the responsibility to review and accept contractural schedules from our subcontractors which varied in scope complexity and contract value (>$10m) as well as supporting our contracts’ team with schedule inquiries. Since May-24, I’m the lead planner for the Data Center, Wastewater Treatment Plant, and Warehouse; overseeing construction planning, subcontractor schedule performance and progress, and managing schedule changes on a daily basis.

The Uranium Processing Facility (UPF) being built at the Y-12 National Security Complex is a multi-building, state of the art complex for enriched uranium operations related to nuclear security. An estimated $6.5 billion, UPF is one of the DOE's largest investments in Tennessee since the Manhattan Project and one of the National Nuclear Security Administration's largest construction projects.At UPF, I coordinated the structural steel installation for the Salvage and Accountability Building (SAB) and two construction work packages for the second level of structural steel for the Main Process Building (MPB). Also conducted material inspections for over 100 structural members to ensure constructability and quality prior to erection and delivery to site. Lastly, I designed a concrete base for the Skidmore-Wilhelm’s hydraulic tension calibrator to test bolt’s conformance to design specifications and safety standards as well as created NCRs, RFIs, and FCDs.

Delivered LEED items 2-3 weeks ahead of schedule which included Indoor Air Quality Reports, Material Tracking Forms, Construction Waste Management Reports, and Sustainable Material Form that resulted in a LEED Silver Certification for One Blue Slip building. And resolved design-build conflict between the garage door and trench drain which saved money and time for the client. As well as created NCRs, RFIs, and FCDs.
