Hi! My name is Valentín. I work on understanding the way things work. I study Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires, where I'm focusing on the impact of the anti-science discourse on society and the development of science itself. I've previously worked on topics related to the hacker ethic and how it can be implemented in educational environments and did some minor research on logic and artificial intelligence.I've worn many many hats, that range from web developer to creative director or communications officer, but right now I'm focusing on writing. That's why since 2017 I work as a permanent writer for La Nación, focusing on technology and politics, and for outlets such as VICE, Revista Anfibia, Culture Trip among others.Since 2017 I run "Cómo funcionan las cosas", a weekly newsletter with more than 15.000 subscribers that focuses on stories from science, philosophy, history and literature and serves as a platform for promoting curiosity.In 2019 I cofounded bestia.media with Axel Marazzi, a strategy and communication consulting firm focused on newsletters.
