During this training period I worked on improving the health, safety and environmental performance of a Celanese chemical production plant. I designed a new system for the location of fire alarms, carried out safety audits, created the environmental emergency response plan, designed a program for the calculation of GHG emissions from energy use. I designed and programmed a website for Bemtevi, an association promoting the Brazilian and South-American cinema in France. Website was programmed in PHP and HTML, with an SQL database.

During two month, in a team of four students, I wrote an environmental impact assessment for a golf project in France, in close relation to the project manager. For this project I was in charge of the waste water treatment assessment, water consumption and storage design, and the evaluation of the impact on landscape.

During three month I worked on assessing the safety performance of a chemical pump manufacturing plant in France. I wrote a report summarizing the health and safety risks in the plant, providing solutions for the reduction of these risks. I also evaluated the presence of explosive atmospheres in the plant (dust, flammable vapors), and the level of safety.
