Entrepreneur, physical therapist, & instructor in the physical therapy, wellness, and fitness industries and is the owner of Valeo Human Performance, LLC. Who, after 11 years of the successful operation of Valeo Physical Therapy in Houston, Tx, recently relocated to the Washington, DC area with his wife and daughter for a new adventure on the East Coast.  After completing enlistment in the Air Force, Paul graduated from Colorado State University with undergraduate and graduate degrees in Exercise and Sport Science with an Athletic Training concentration and was focused on working with elite athletes.  Soon after, he moved to Houston, completed his Masters of Physical Therapy degree in 2006 at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, and in 2007, he opened and operated Valeo Physical Therapy, an outpatient physical therapy, wellness, and fitness clinic until the fall of 2018.  His background in exercise science, cryogenic healing, nutrition, athletic training, strength and conditioning, and even NASA microgravity research keeps him looking for new and innovative techniques to help his clients get better faster.  His specialties include Sports Medicine, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Injury Prevention, Orthopedic Rehab, Shoulder, Knee and Spine Rehab, Kinesiology Taping, Multifunctional Movement Specialist (MFMS), Functional Movement Systems, ML830 Laser Certified Clinician, Whelton Myofascial Referral Technique Trained, Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN), and Blood Flow Restriction.Paul believes that being a physical therapist is a craft that requires using a wide range of revolutionary treatment techniques and patient education to speed the patient’s own healing process.
