As a Business Manager for over 10 years, I acquired an extensive experience in all main managerial areas (Strategy, Finance, Sales, Operations, Business Development & HHRR). After an initial restructuring period, the company has been profitable ever since. The International MBA I took during the period 2002-2004 helped me to understand the key elements in decision making, both as a Business Development Manager and as a Business Unit Manager.My competencies as Business Unit Manager started when working in AUSA, where, as part of my responsibilities, I was in charge for the Business Development division. I took over an initial business idea that was being dismissed and, together with my team, we boosted the project by extensively working on the field, getting our hands dirty and developing a viable and attractive service for new customers. By the time I left the company, I was already the Business Unit Manager of the new business division.Following my previous experience in EVERIS and AUSA, on 2009 I started my own company BLOC VAXA. I applied and reinforced my knowledge in Business Development to create an innovative environmental services firm. The company broke even on Y1.Overall, during my 18 years of experience spanning a wide range of sectors, I developed the capacity to engage in all sorts of challenges, from opening new markets and launching new products to overhauling and consolidating business units.
