As an IT Specialist Intern at University Lands, I contributed to UT student career development and success through real work experience. In this role, I provided technical support to professional staff and executives, and addressed issues with laptops, workstations, applications, network connections, and audiovisual technologies for meetings and events. I also participated in larger IT projects aimed at improving operations. This position allowed me to develop skills in public speaking, business writing, interpersonal communication, project management, networking, and technical support, while enhancing my understanding of higher education. My responsibilities included systematically diagnosing and resolving hardware, operating system, and software application issues, utilizing and contributing to a knowledge base, and ensuring clear communication with both technical and non-technical users. As a Customer Service Associate at Lowe's paint department, I have honed my communication, organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.My daily interactions with customers have developed excellent communication skills that enable me to be a good listener and empathize with their needs.
