Valeria Marto owns and operates Drama Kids International of Greater Columbus, GA. Drama Kids is an after-school literacy enrichment program that builds confident speakers through the use of drama. Valeria manages a team of seven employees, 30 locations and approximately 600 students. Valeria’s vision is to build a strong communication foundation, through the performing arts, in every child so they can excel in their endeavors later on in life.Theater has been a part of Valeria’s life since childhood. She devoted most of her teen and young adult life to the performing arts, studying acting and participating in several productions in Brazil, where he grew up. Valeria attended college in the U.S. and graduated from Columbus State University with a Business degree. Upon graduating, she worked in the Corporate Marketing and Communications department of TSYS for 8 years. Throughout her career at TSYS, Valeria managed conferences and trade shows and helped executives prepare their presentations and speeches for various events. Working in Corporate Communications for a global company made her realize the importance of oral communication and presentation skills for every person, in every career.
