Ik was verantwoordelijk voor het opzetten en ontwikkelen van het onderzoeks- en innovatieprogramma Leidingnet van de Toekomst, dat bestond uit 14 projecten gericht op digitalisering van de infrastructuur (o.a. smart metering, IoT sensoring, Digital Twins, 3D modellen en inspectietechnieken). Ik begeleidde en enthousiasmeerde stakeholders, projectleiders en projectteams op individueel en op groepsniveau.

Ik coördineerde de Europese aanbesteding watermeters, inclusief een marktconsultatie en de contractimplementatie.

For Evides, I am the project leader of an innovation project about smart metering. The aim of this project is determining different value propositions of the smart meter and giving a strategic advice for the managing board about implementation and growth strategies. An important part of my job is stakeholder management, to make sure the business is embracing our suggested strategy and future changes. My work also includes organising pilots and experiments, setting up collaborations with suppliers and calculating business benefits. I work closely together with a team of IT specialists, fitters, asset managers and so on.

As a business consultant, I am working for different utility companies. With an open, curious and enthusiastic approach, I bring structure to projects and teams to make sure goals are achieved. I am specialised in strategy, change management, process optimisation and project management. I work together with various departments, such as the board of directors, finance, data teams and operations. I have contributed to the strong growth of the company (from 10 to 60 employees in 4 years).

Voor Simpuls ontwikkel en begeleid ik serious games: spellen die ingezet worden bij bedrijven om deelnemers op een leuke en efficiënte manier te laten leren, bewustwording te creëren of een gedragsverandering te bewerkstelligen.

On behalf of one business unit of Stedin, I was responsible for the implementation of strategic goals into tactical and operational programs and projects. I worked closely together with the managing board during the planning of investments. With 14 project managers, I determined strict scopes, set clear targets, realistic deadlines and calculated budgets and business benefits for all the planned projects focussing on increasing business performances.

I was part of the team that wrote the business plan for an innovative start-up to extract energy from wastewater and drinking water. I was leading the meetings with potential external partners and the municipality of Amsterdam to effectively integrate strategies and to build relationships. I successfully executed a stakeholder analysis and a participation plan and advised in risk management. I also supported the board of directors within the decision-making process to a tight deadline.

As the project leader of a pilot project for utility company Cogas, I have optimized all the processes of their major client/product group. Together with the team, I have realised financial savings and drastically decreased lead times (from 86 days to 10 days). This project served as a template for future projects moving forward.

During this assignment, the company was in the process of a take-over. I was partly responsible for leading and developing a team of 10-14 people during this time and I successfully changed the operational processes as required by the acquisition company.

I have offered support in several projects in the health care industry, focussing on making care processes qualitatively better and more efficient with techniques of Lean. I have also did an internship during my masters.

Ik was verantwoordelijk voor het stagecentrum van de opleiding Bedrijfskunde en verrichtte werkzaamheden als het geven van voorlichting, contacten onderhouden met bedrijven, studenten en docenten, het verbeteren van interne processen en het opzetten en uitvoeren van een nieuw marketingplan.

I successfully changed the planning for two departments, which reduced waiting times (improvement of 325%) and made work more interesting for the employees of the team.

Het Nijmegen Career Event is een jaarlijks georganiseerde tweedaagse carrièrebeurs met bijna 400 deelnemers en 25 bedrijven zoals Rabobank, Ernst & Young, Randstad en Achmea. In mijn functie als voorzitter stuurde ik een commissie van tien personen aan en gezamenlijk waren we verantwoordelijk voor de gehele organisatie van het evenement.
