In the NAIC recent market share report , NYSIF ranked in the top 10 in the nation for premium volume. We take tremendous pride in this rank given our market base is only in New York. In my role, I ensure that our underwriting practices are sound, that our pricing is accurate, that we stay on the forefront of changes in the business climate and evolving needs of our policyholders and reps. NYSIF is an organization that will remain ever present to our customer base in every aspect and we will continue to expand our customer services. Our ultimate goal is to continue to bring the lowest cost premium to the employers we serve and I am honored to be an intricate part of the processes to ensure we achieve that promise.

The New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) has created a Producers' Advisory Council as of November 2016. The move further establishes NYSIF's recognition of the important role that producers play in the placement of State Fund business. NYSIF established the council for the purpose of obtaining guidance and reaction to NYSIF practices that impact producers. While the council does not have any governance or policy authority, it serves as an important link between NYSIF and the producer community. Eight members will initially be selected to serve staggered three-year terms.
