My responsibilities include: Serving as the primary point of contact for Enterprise Incidents and for the Operations Center on the assigned shift for Department of State Vanguard 2.2.1 Operations. I coordinate on an assigned shift for support of the DoS Enterprise-wide systems and services associated with networking, voice services, security operations, email and related collaboration tools, and Enterprise mobility and messaging. I develop and manage ITIL-based services using Service Operations, Service Transition and Continual Service Improvement methodologies. I also review the effectiveness and efficiency of the Incident and Change Management framework and processes. I interface, coordinate, and resolve issues with multiple senior government managers and worldwide embassies and posts.I am in charge of conducting data analysis independently and in coordination with service areas to quickly identify system and service issues. We conduct long range planning to ensure system and service continuity of operations (i.e. power outages and Enterprise-affecting projects), frequently interacting with outside customers and functional peer groups.

• Responsible for monitoring the HSI Personnel Recovery Unit (PRU) Blue Force Tracking System; monitors the location and progress of HSI agents and attaché vehicle/personnel travel abroad for duress alarms and departures from planned driving routes. (This is an ICE proprietary system)• Consolidates Blue Force Tracking System data into a common operating picture (COP) for use at ICE headquarters and in the field. Utilize route planning tools, input grid coordinates, and enable proximity warnings when the vehicle approaches/deviates from critical landmarks/way points. • In the event of an actual alert, coordinate with the NSOC to ensure information concerning the PRU and HSI personnel are located and accounted for. • Maintains continuous effective coordination and communication with counterparts and colleagues in intelligence organizations, including personnel in the DHS National Operations Center (NOC), the Secretary of Homeland Security, the Secretary’s Briefing Staff, NGB, USNORTHCOM, DIA, NSA, CIA, and other of federal, state, tribal, and local partner agencies as required.• Prepares, coordinates, and disseminates crisis action reports, intelligence assessments, and intelligence appraisals to customers and ensure ICE significant event notification requirements are met.Supported investigations related to national security, illegal immigration, financial crime, trade fraud, human smuggling and trafficking, child sex tourism, weapons proliferation, drug smuggling and other criminal activities.Serves as a federal emergency response official as a member of the ICE Emergency Relocation Group. Used expertise in classified systems, information cultivation, review and dissemination, and incident command systems to ensure the ICE JIOC 24x7 watch functions continue during exercise, training and real-world events, for both Continuity of Government (COGCON) and Continuity of Operations (COOP).

• Provide 24 hour operations for air craft through HF and SATCOM communications.• Mastered communication systems such as SCOPE Command, SIPRNET, NIPRNET, and Automatic Link Establishment (ALE). Monitor and relay radio traffic to include Presidential aircraft Air Force One.• Performed managerial responsibilities to increase the productivity and effectiveness of the team. Lead the development and transition of new personnel of the organization and office. Assist in facilitating training of new personnel for computer systems and radio equipment. • Maintain a watch record of activities for every shift.

• Provide emergency notifications to Senior Leadership during threats to National Security and other types of National emergencies.• Operate secure and non-secure radio and telephone equipment that supports the National Operations Center.• Handle aircraft, trip site and other mobile communications to and from the Secretary during travel, both domestic and abroad.• Serve as a Telecommunications Subject Matter Expert for all National Operations Center staff.• Answer and properly transfer or conference unclassified and classified telephones to the NOC. Calls routinely involve communications with Executive Cabinet Members and Staff that must be handled professionally and without error.• Setup unclassified and classified conference calls using all available assets such as the Avaya Conferencing Bridge, L-3 Communications, STE-R Bridge, etc.• Activate scenarios on the Communicator NXT notifications system and DHS Alert System.• Operate HF, VHF, UHF and Satellite Communications radio systems and maintain a watch record of activities.
