About Valerie Weak

I'm a union actor (AEA, SAG-AFTRA) and teaching artist in the San Francisco Bay Area and I've been in the region 20 years. I have extensive experience in live theater and have toured both nationally and internationally. I also work in voiceover, on-camera and print. Summer 2024 I perform in The Tempest with San Francisco Shakespeare Festival from July 20 to Sept 8. sfshakes.org has the schedule details. I play Alonso, King of Naples, and I'm also the understudy for Prospero.Look for me as Mrs. Miller in '13 Reasons Why' Season 2, Episode 2 on Netflix. Additional recent acting work includes Rosemary in Picnic at Ross Valley Players (Bay Area Critics Circle Winner Best Production, North Bay & nominee Best Featured Actor) and indie short Skywatch, where one of my co-stars is Jude Law! I teach Suzuki and Viewpoints techniques to teens, adults and theater ensembles in workshop settings.
