Founded in Haifa in 1984, Mediatek has grown to be the largest and best-established OEM system integrator and IT company in the north of Israel.As a division of the Emet Computing Group, Mediatek supplies a wide variety of customization and integration services along with IT solutions to businesses in multiple verticals, ranging from industrial edge devices, through enterprise client and server products and specializing in various niches such as cybersecurity appliances, Linux based turn key appliances, petabyte scale distributed storages, military-grade solutions, automobile and much more.My responsibilities included:• Technical greenfield research and technology introduction, driving growth by continuously expanding our technological added value.• Leading all multidisciplinary technical departments and activities of the company.• Senior management, matrix cross company responsibilities.• Ground up establishment of an engineering department and SW development team.• Direct management of the engineering department.• Establishing efficient and reliable product life cycle processes, driving all OEM products through solution design, POC, NPI, mass production, ECO cycles and finally smooth EOL transitions.• Central engineering on key global OEM projects, managing technical processes and automation tooling of copy exact production across facilities of vendors and subsidiaries in 5 countries.• Leading department merges, information system platform migrations, facility restructures, cross company operations.

Leveraged the outstanding technological and operational results of our previous years to reinvest and grow surrounding teams, as well as create new added values and verticals for the company.Main activities included:• Lead Solutions architect, defined solutions per customer needs for all our major OEM products. • Developed automation SW and customized HW jigs to improve production and service procedures for complex OEM products.• Brought up OEM service department, SME / FAE team. Started SW development and presale operations.• Recruitment and training of multidisciplinary technical personal. Created internal training paths and ranking to onboard juniors efficiently, bringing them quickly to our specific standards.

Responsible for production operations, facility and day to day leadership by example of the integration teams. • Delivered tens of thousands of systems over numerous IT deployments and dozens of OEM projects for customer mostly from medical, defense, semiconductors, cyber and industrial sectors.Outstanding OEM projects during the period:- 3K+ rack-scale distributed storage nodes.- 20K+ medical ultrasound carts.- 1K+ datacenter hypervisor clusters nodes.- 3K+ medical diagnostic workstations.• Introduced dedicated OEM infrastructure operations. Implemented enterprise IT standards, monitored production floor, central deployment tools and cooperation platforms. • Greatly reduced paperwork and consolidated old school integration practices into a clear acceptance test oriented methodology. Drastically improved OEE and quality of all supplied products. • Constantly adapted with limited resources during rough shifts in the markets to maintain reliable operation, SLA and team drive.
