Worked on two projects:i) Industry report evaluating the current situation and future prospects for the trout fishing industry. ii) Supported the launch of an IT Startup by joining a small team with the founder and two developers. Worked on the company’s first cash generating project – design & implementation of a custom ERP system. Tasks involved:- In-depth analysis of the client company’s (one of the fastest growing Tech Startups in the region) structure and operations.- Architectural design of the ERP system reflecting on the above whilst considering dynamic developments in the business model due to rapid growth.- Communication and meetings with the client’s executive board – presenting and further developing the design, liaison with the developers.Two main architectural design elements for the project: - Modelling of a forecasting model that would accurately predict production amounts and inventory at certain points in time. Outputs used thereafter along with information on suppliers and subcontractors to automate procurement of inventory (more than 100 elements for each product with different variables) and setting of manufacturing times.- Modelling of an automated accounting system that would accurately calculate and fill out essential financial declarations based on actions undertaken within the ERP system.
