My main contribution to the integration between the companies was to make sure that the two groups of developers was well organized and taken care of. I also made sure to combine the best from both companies point of view and partner cooperations. The merger was a great success with positive combined growth in profitability in just a few months.

Built and lead a center of excellence with 70 professionals serving 16 different companies and business areas in a wide range of size and maturity, from startups to billion NOK businesses, with the core technology for e-commerce, ERP and warehouse management. Responsible for setting and executing the platform and technology strategy, moving towards microservice architecture and the cloud. In 2018 the e-commerce platform had hundreds of microservices running in the cloud and we even moved the ERP system out of our physical datacenter. Instrumental in setting up one of the first online pharmacies in Norway, launching innovative payment methods that provided more than 40% of the group’s profits, introduced flexible freight solutions and created one of Norway’s first e-commerce marketplaces. All on the same platform. During Black Friday we had 50 times normal traffic with 65.000 concurrent users at midnight, converting to more than 1 million NOK pr. minute in sales the first hour with great customer experience. This was only possible due to our microservice platform with cloud scaling capabilities. We also saved a lot of cost compared scaling in the onsite datacenter.
