Android Software Engineer (Java / Kotlin).- Experience -I've been working as an Android developer for over 4 years. I prefer working on large enterprise projects where clients prioritize product quality, test coverage, and high performance. I have developed various Android projects, including both simple shopping applications and complex projects such as an ad blocker or advertising SDK, which involved extensive testing and complex architecture. On most projects, I was the one Android engineer and developed all the Android functionality on my own. But I am also ready to work in a big team. I have worked on projects using only pure Android SDK and Java, as well as projects with a significant number of third-party libraries and Kotlin. In my free time, I enjoy creating self-educational applications for personal use, such as the video player with dual subtitles, the dictionary with built-in Anki integration, or simply apps to improve my skills. I have a perfectionist attitude when it comes to code cleanliness and readability. I write sustainable, high-quality code using modern techniques. I can easily find many solutions for any problem on my own and can explain the pros and cons of each solution. I enjoy learning something new in programming, so I improve my skills daily.- Education -I became interested in programming back in school. During the last 2 years of high school, I worked as a freelance front-end developer. In 2016, I enrolled in university to major in Computer Science, where I studied the fundamentals of programming and data science for 6 years. While studying at university, I became interested in Java and Android and therefore began to study them in depth. In 2022, I graduated from the university with a master's degree. Even after graduating, I continue my learning by completing online courses and regularly reading programming books to enhance my skills.- About me -I spent most of my life in Ukraine. Now, I live in Split, Croatia. I am fond of sports and regularly go to the gym. During the summer, I enjoy going to the beach for snorkeling. I also have a great passion for mountain hiking.
