School Administrator
Current-Develop programs and services to strengthen home-school partnership -Support the development professional development plans to address individual and/or collective teachers’ needs-Create, manage, and evaluate operational processes, protocols and procedures to ensure school-wide efficiencies-Guide and supervise the instructional team in planning, implementing, and evaluating academic programs -Oversee the development and execution of appropriate instructional and social emotional learning goals, teaching strategies and assessments -Provide coaching in research-based classroom management and instructional practices to increase teacher effectiveness, improve classroom climate and student outcome-Train staff in emotionally responsive practices aligned to the Bank Street College methodology on teaching the whole child -Establish and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for students and staff through the implementation of tiered behavior interventions and responses -Communicate routinely and effectively with diverse stakeholders—faculty, staff, students, families, volunteers and community members-Mediate conflict-resolution sessions between students, parents, staff, and/or faculty-Work cooperatively with internal and external team members to reach a desired outcome
