I was an elementary classroom teacher for twenty-six years in three different states. I taught every grade but 2nd. Throughout that journey, I was blessed with the task of teaching all sorts of children with many different needs. It was my privilege to also work alongside their parents, forming partnerships to optimize their children's skills and knowledge bases.In all accounts during those years, I discovered that I had things to offer in the way of teaching in other capacities. In 2007, I resigned as an educator of elementary-aged students, but realized that teaching was still my gift and my passion.With that, comes leadership skills, creativity, and empathy. I entered the insurance industry, providing employee benefits for small businesses. As a natural transition, I became a financial professional, helping people discover their powerful potential in building better financial futures for themselves.
