As a high school graduate and competitive swimmer in the Viet Nam era I joined the Navy and saw the world as a medical corpsman working from San Diego, to Bethesda, and New York . Following my service I attended CUNY and earned my first college degree in biology. I spent my early career in research at the New England Institute and Baylor. I rounded out my basic education with a Masters of Science and continued in research and education. I transitioned to Director of Training for the National Association of Corrosion Engineers and then moved on to an international training role for Sandvik.As the economy supporting basic science research withered I changed career paths and moved into Information Technology. I obtained a second Masters of Science In Human Resource Administration and worked as an HRIS specialist for major US companies and a Big 4 consulting firm .My career has evolved into project management roles involving HRIS and system conversions for companies in global information technology , telecommunications and health insurance .
