Valsala Krishnan took up the role of the Human Resource Manager for Southeast Asia, reporting directly to the Human Resource Director in Shanghai. In the short period of two years she has created a credible HR Organisation in South East Asia, being a business partner to her internal clients in Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam and hiring and training HR Supervisors in Malaysia and Philippines.Her key successes were:The integration of a Malaysian acquisition. This included compensation and benefits alignment, introduction and training of the HRIS system [Workday], setting up a structured Performance Appraisal System and Employee Development Plans.Executive Coach for Business Managers in Southeast Asia.Performance Management Coach for selected employees.Succession planning for all key managers in South East Asia.
