Partnered with 3 seasonal youth crews to manage two urban gardens in downtown Boston, one of which was on the rooftop of Boston Medical Center/Boston Public Health Commission. All of the food grown in the gardens was donated to local food pantries.Developed and facilitated curriculum about food systems, food justice, nutrition, and how to grow food. Coordinated with multiple partner agencies, including Boston Public Health Commission, Department of Conservation and Recreation, food pantries, corporations, nonprofits, colleges, youth development programs, high schools, and fellow urban gardeners to provide meaningful educational volunteer opportunities within the gardens.

Developed lasting, meaningful relationships while integrating into Jamaican culture. Collaborated with community stakeholders to organize and establish a community-based organization affiliated with Jamaica’s Social Development Commission. Piloted Environmental Education programs at elementary schools and camps.
