After selling the ITS NetVIDxs IP to RITEC I joined the company. I also brought with me my two key FPGA and software engineers. RITEC delivers peerless rugged and military printers, networking appliances, servers, JPEGxs video products to the aerospace, military and industrial marketplaces. All of our products are designed, manufactured, tested and shipped.

Hired to turnaround this commerical fire alarm sales and service company. Restructured debt, created margin based bidding and planning systems, hired sales force and created sales incentive programs. Established dealership releastionship with top tier manufacturer of fire alarm systems. Created alliances with key general contractors and several major.

As consultant to the CEO, I set up cost models, managed design and styling efforts.

Hired to restart this niche aerospace electronics ruggedizer of computer systems after bankruptcy. Created payment plans to encourage vendors to furnish materials for contracts of the company. Enlisted financial support of certain customers to pre-fund manufacturing and set up and MRP system to manage material and production flow.Negotiated new pricing.

Hired to turnaround this AS400 backup systems niche electronics manufacturer. Created new processes to reduce production costs, reduced inventories, revised sales strategies.Turned negative cash flow to positive in 9 months. Introduced two new highly competitive products, eliminated slow moving product and low margin product.

Developed OEM relationship with Xerox corporation to develop secure fax accessory to interface STUII telephone to any Xerox commerical fax machine. Led development and delivery of a rugged disk drive product used in the F15 aircraft on the TEREC program for the USAFDeveloped a number of ruggedized commercial products for use in military applications.

Managed overall marketing activities for rugged computer business.Program Manager for NESP (first rad-hard microcomputer in the Navy), GWEN (RCA), FOG-M (US Army) and many others. Developed dBase application to automate quoting and forecasting for the overall business.

Led R&D, Sustaining and Manufacturing Engineering for Floppy Disk Operations. Developed new class of floppy drive using microprocessor to control spindle speed, track position and other combinational logic elements. Eliminated all but three mechanical adjustments and all electronic adjustments for the drive. Design manufacturing process to support 500 unit.

Led development of a digital secure voice product to substitute for a KY58 crypto device in the export market. Worked w/NSA to qualify the cryto system for export licensing.Developed several specialized equipments installed in Navy submarines and manged the qualfication of the TSDC used in Trident class submarines with sonar systems.

Managed automated test equipment developments for inertial guidance systems produced by the company. Developed equipment around PDP 11 and HP 2100 minicomputers. Developed control and meansurement software based on FORTAN 77, ALGOL and BASIC.
