Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker passionate about all things geriatrics, caregiving, and serving America’s heroes, Veterans. Former journalist now a social worker in outpatient neurology clinic. Skilled in geriatric-care/geriatric case management and advocacy. I serve Veterans with dementias, Huntington’s, Parkinson’s, and brain tumors. I am also a certified dementia practitioner. I previously worked as an inpatient social worker for some of the most complex discharges at the Birmingham VA on the Safe Harbor unit.
