Worked on CFD analysis of a DI Engine using AVL Fire,Ansys and Pointwise under Prof. Baseem Ramadan at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Kettering university.In this project i worked closely on the interaction between the fuel spray and the air motion within the piston bowl in order to reduce soot and NO emissions and on combustion analysis inside a piston cylinder by altering the fuel spray angle. fuel inflow, pressure and piston geometry.

This intern familiarized me with Ford's Product Creation Processes (GPDS) and how they are implemented on various vehicle programs of varying complexity. My focus was on Virtual Design phases of the vehicle program activity, with a specific focus on the use of Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) tools and methods in the Product Creation Processes. These processes involves gaining exposure to CAD tools such as CATIA and PLM tools such as TeamCenter. The intern helped me gain understanding of the functioning of IT groups tasked with developing, deploying and supporting PLM and CAD tools and planning process for future enhancements.

My responsibilities were Monitoring a production line of 3G transport products.Give solutions for problems faced in Surface Mounting (robotics) while production.Total Productive Maintenance lead engineer.Improving line yield and to reduce down time.
