I attended Oral Roberts University School of Law (J,D.), Kansas University School of Law (visiting third year student); and, University of Arkansas at Fayetteville School of Law (LL.M.). I engaged in the general practice of law for 7 years before taking the bench as a General Jurisdiction trial judge (District Judge) for the State of Kansas. After serving 23 years as a judge, I retired and resumed the practice of law in a partnership with Kurt P. Kerns, and I am now focusing on defending persons accused of crimes. I am licensed in Kansas and Colorado. I am also admitted to the list of counsel for the ICC in The Hague, and I am a member of the ICCBA and the ADC-ICT bar in The Hague, Netherlands.
