Senior Director of Business Operations and DevelopmentAs the Senior Director of Business and Housing Operations I support the vision of the President of the organization in developing new business opportunities, implementing, and monitoring policies, procedures, and initiatives that enhanced and improved the business operation of the organization. These business operations include VETS box Manufacturing Plant, Residential Center for Veterans, VETS Work Center, Veterans Homeownership Program, Facilities Management, Emergency Solutions Grant, Client Services, and the NVOP Development Corporation that provides NVOP building management services. Manage a staff of six supervisors and 60 account agents, linemen and store personnel, including the performance of all related hiring, training, and leadership functions. Direct the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of distribution lines and electrical systems and equipment. Coordinate full range of employee training programs, including hazardous waste operations (HAZWOPER), first aid/CPR, worker respiratory and blood borne pathogen protection, and confined space entry. Supervise sub-contracting personnel and ensure all work is in accordance with PEC procedures and statutory legislation. Supervise operations, conduct performance evaluations, draft reports, approve expenditures and requisitions, and interface with customers. Oversee contracts and release work orders to outside firms.
