My name is Van Moy, and I am an aspiring art educator and museum curator with a passion for inspiring others to appreciate and engage with art.🎓 I am currently a student at the Borough of Manhattan Community College majoring in Art Foundations - Studio Art: Drawing, where I am building my foundation for a career in the visual arts. 🖼️ As an art student, I have honed my skills in a variety of mediums, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and graphic design. Building upon specialized areas of art expertise, such as color theory, anatomical design, and 3D modeling, I hope to carry a wide range of abilities into my work. My true passion lies in sharing my knowledge and love of art with others. That's why I have decided to pursue a career in art education and museum curation.🎨 Throughout my academic career, I have sought out opportunities to engage with the art community and develop my skills as an artist by doing freelance commission work along with being a featured artist in zines. I hope to one day study as a teaching assistant for art classes, helping students of all ages to develop their artistic abilities and gain a deeper understanding of art.💡 I believe that art has the power to inspire, challenge, and transform us, and I am committed to bringing that power to as many people as possible.
