International Service Account Manager
CurrentPOSITION SUMMARY AND SCOPEThe focus of the Service Account Manager (SAM) is to build strong partnerships with our club and hospitality operators through collaborative communication, proactive actions, and a personalized approach to their business needs.The SAM provides technical assistance and acts as the primary service liaison to club and hospitality operators nationally, including the coordination of the parts order process to resolving escalated customer service issues. The SAM constantly studies and tries to anticipate the needs of the organizations Precor serves to continually redefine the levels of service necessary to meet or exceed customer expectations. The SAM also assists club operators in retaining club members by keeping Precor equipment operational expenses down, working with club service technicians to minimize fitness equipment down time, analyzing warranty parts replacement history to detect potential service issue trends, review aging equipment and non-warranty parts orders with the intent to provide visibility to parts expenses. The SAM reports directly to the Customer Support Supervisor. The position involves a high degree of teamwork with various departments including Customer Support, Sales, Research and Development, Technical Training and Documentation, Accounting, Operations and Field Service. This high visibility position requires follow-up, attention to detail, and a high degree of professionalism.The SAM must be familiar with and capable of performing all aspects of the role of both a Customer Support Technician and a Customer Support Representative. The incumbent will use overall knowledge of Precor’s mission statement, objectives and strategies, along with exercising considerable independent discretion and judgment, to ensure that the field support organization meets or exceeds the needs of its customers.
