This task includes generating budgets and schedules for IT projects.- Led Computerize Data Acquisition and Control System (CDACS) system I&T project to support NASA Magnetospheric Multiscale (MMS) Mission TVAC testing. This task involves managing engineers, set up strategic integration objectives, creating/managing schedules for CDACS related tasks, and reporting status updates to NASA and NRL upper management to ensure project success.

- Modified Tiny Orbit Prediction (TOP) code to fit onto a PIC18LF4620 microcontroller to perform SGP4 orbit calculations for Ocean Data Telemetry Micro-sat Link (ODTML) project.- Utilized traditional waterfall SDLC to redesign the Computerize Data Acquisition and Control System (CDACS) using National Instrument’s Labview based on customer new requirements to incorporate a centralize database backend with full proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control algorithm using industry standard hardware such as HP3940A data logger, Omega temperature controller, and Agilent power supplies.- Supported numerous payload and spacecraft level TVAC testing. This includes: GLAST Observatory, GLAST LAT payload, Orbital’s DAWN payload, Standard Bus, SSULI payload, MISSE6-8 and AeroAstro’s payload.- Utilized Rapid Application Development (RAD) to design and implement a system for strain gauge readout using National Instrument’s SCXI bus for Standard Bus Antenna testing project.

- Supported the NASA Gamma-ray Large Area Space Telescope (GLAST) calorimeter electronics design, development, and qualification phases.- Wrote and maintained GLAST LAT Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Test Procedure for EMI testing of the LAT subcomponent at NRL based on Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) GLAST LAT Environmental Test Implementation Plan.- Designed Xilinx FPGA Verilog code for the Radiation Test Board and Labview interface software to test Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) ADC and DAC chips for use on missions. Radiation test board used for both heavy-ion and total dose testing at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL).- Designed Labview software using National Instrument GPIB card for data readout and control of step motor table to automate testing of flight crystal scintillators. Software and documentation were deliverables for test system delivered to collaborators in Sweden. Two thousand crystals ran through the test system for fight qualification.- Developed Labview interface software for custom vector test boards, which were used for screening and qualifying the custom ASICs. 11,000 ASICs were run through the test system- Performed schematic design and layout of revised mixed-signal ASIC test board. Developed Xilinx FPGA Verilog code for test board and Labview interface software. - Designed PIN Diode Leakage-Current Test Board and Labview interface system. Test system was used to measure leakage current of flight diodes. A total of 6,000 diodes were tested with the system. - Supported production and performed testing of 100 flight circuit boards and 18 flight calorimeter modules. - Support Electromagnetic Interference/ Electromagnetic Compliance (EMI/EMC) and thermal vacuum testing of flight calorimeters.
