Van Watts started early at the age of 18 in the Real Estate Industry, obtaining his brokers license at 21. In addition to having 30 years of real estate management and sales experience, Van has spearheaded more than 15 real estate development projects. He is committed to the needs and goals of clients and is well known his knowledge and experience as a land buyer, real estate developer, community planner, property manager, and construction liaison in commercial and residential real estate.In 1993 Van Watts supervised the development, construction operations, and sales of several multi million dollar projects for Hall Development Coastal Division.These projects received recognition and accolades, including the designation of “ Top 20 Retirement Communities in The Nation.” Van started Pace Group shortly after, and continues to head it more than 20 years later. Throughout the years Pace has earned a reputation for success in developing new properties and turning around existing properties into more profitable ventures. Van joined with Sperry Van Ness in 2013. He is dedicated to following the Sperry Van Ness model of putting the clients interests first. Through his involvement, this firm has put together a team of some of the top Real Estate professionals in the Myrtle Beach area. Van Watts is an active member of the community and currently sits on the board of the Waccamaw Animal Rescue Mission. He is also a member of the Association of Realtors and past president of the Chicora Rotary Club.
