Since joining Simplex System Controls in 1996, I have used my expertise to deliver the best product to our clients. As the resident UL specialist, I handle accounts in the food, spray technology, and manufacturing industries. I strive to use my knowledge and experience to anticipate our clients’ needs and fill in the blanks to ensure the build meets their specifications, timeline, and budget. My creative problem solving skills has earned me the name “the MacGyver of Simplex.” I love a good challenge!

  After earning my Bachelors of Science at Eastern Illinois University, I began my career at Simplex in wiring and moved on to quality control manager 3 months later, a position which I held for 8 years before becoming a project manager. My duties include seeing the project from the initial quote through completion of the job, overseeing construction to ensure that the build is done to the customer’s specifications on-time and on-budget, procurement of parts, and logistics. I can also use past experience to look at components and “reverse design” without a blueprint.
