I am a Senior Vice President of MNP Ltd. I have worked in restructuring for the past sixteen years. I am a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Practitioner and a Licensed Insolvency Trustee, who specializes in corporate restructurings, leading both formal and informal insolvency and turnaround engagements for troubled companies in a variety of industries. I have acted in a variety of corporate insolvency engagements including bankruptcies, proposals, private and Court – appointed receiverships, proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and Chapter 15 proceedings. I am also regularly involved in business review and monitoring engagements for companies that may be suffering from poor financial or operational results. I have undertaken engagements in a variety of industries including oil and gas, not-for-profit, retail/ wholesale, manufacturing, mining, real estate, hospitality, gaming and bio-pharmaceutical. I have done presentations for the Canadian Bar Association, the Turnaround Management Association, CAIRP and the Risk Management Association. I also co-wrote an article that was published in CAIRP's Rebuilding Success magazine (fall/ winter 2015 issue) entitled "Changing Economic Conditions in the Oil and Gas Industry".
