Infrastructure/Virtualization Architect
CurrentTechnical lead and subject matter expert responsible for overseeing all Enterprise related activities for a $15 billion pension system, to include all change management, maintenance and advancement necessary to provide secure, highly available and industry compliant systems, applications, and products, to include: * Network Infrastructure - routing/switching/VLAN segmentation, network load balancing, and web application proxies * Software Defined Data Center - virtual infrastructure, FC shared storage, ESXi hosts, hypervisor, and virtual networking/distributed switching * Digital Workspace and EUC – virtual desktop infrastructure, zero/ thin clients (and management console), user environment management, virtual and hosted applications, and remote desktop services * Identity and Access Management – Active Directory, domain controllers and site replication, DNS/DHCP, DFS, NTFS, Group Policies, role-based access controls, distributed file systems, cloud federation services, and certificate authorities * Server administration - Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, ESX, Ubuntu, CentOS, HP ProLiant, and Dell PowerEdge and VxRail * Business continuity and disaster recovery - multi-site support, data backup, retention, and replication, disaster recovery processes and procedures, etc.
