 Direct, oversee, mentor, and coach team of (2) subordinate managers and (13) Network Engineers, System Engineers, System Administrators, and Help Desk personnel in all functions relating to enterprise infrastructure and applications.  Prepare and manage annual +$7-billion CAPEX and OPEX IT budget, involving funding annual project and initiatives, hardware/software purchases and renewals, service agreements, professional consulting services and capital expenditures.  Develop and orchestrate plans for the maintenance, support, advancement and transformation of the software defined data center and all on-premises and cloud enterprise infrastructure, applications and services. Serve as the thought leader, advisor and technical analyst in all enterprise projects and initiatives, IT strategic planning, and disaster recovery preparedness planning. Perform project management activities on all sized technical projects and initiative. Use and encourage PMP/PMI standards for managing and delivering successful IT projects and initiatives and support all phases of a project's life cycle. Facilitate the creation and orchestrate the preservation of relevant documentation of all enterprise related hardware, software, and end-user applications and recommend and guide the implementation of IT policies, processes, standards and procedures. Serve as a technical liaison between the IT Operations and Security and Enterprise Risk departments to ensure security initiatives are viable and executed with a holistic approach. Ensure compliance to industry best practices and security standards. Manage vulnerability remediation activities that support the Enterprise Systems. Perform disaster recovery/business continuity planning, preparedness, and execution.

Provide thought leadership in daily technical operations and actively participate in the maintenance, support and troubleshooting of the college’s technological resources and infrastructure. Lead and recommend college IT strategic planning through sustained technological research and continued participation in various appointed committees. Recommend, plan, design, budget, and lead all annual departmental projects as well as direct all capital technology expenditures. Evaluate technology use and needs and facilitate technological improvements that foster the college’s growth, longevity, and competitiveness through being a leader in technological advancements in two-year higher education throughout the state of Ohio.
