As the Director of the School of Education, Leadership, Health, & Humanities at Southern Oregon University (SOU), I lead a diverse and dynamic team of faculty and staff who are dedicated to creating and delivering high-quality academic programs that prepare students for a variety of careers and leadership roles in education, health, and the humanities. I have over 15 years of experience in higher education administration, focusing on curriculum development, accreditation, assessment, and online learning.In addition to my role as Director, I am also a published author of children's books, with a passion for storytelling and inspiring young readers. My latest book, "The Pesky Fly," was released in November 2020 and has received positive reviews from critics and readers alike. I also write articles and book chapters on topics related to online learning, distance education, and innovation in higher education, drawing on my expertise and credentials as a Master of Education in Educational Supervision. I enjoy collaborating with colleagues and partners from different disciplines and backgrounds, and I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new opportunities.
