WIN-T INC 2 POP/SNE COI.

Instructor for the the Army's Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (WIN-T). Field new equipment and instruct soldiers on how to operate and maintain the WIN-T (INC 2) Satellite Communications equipment which is includes the STT+, STT-HP, TCN, PoP and SNE using the Network Centrick Waveform. Also provide instruction on the Line of Sight Systems used on the TCN, PoP and TRT using the Highband Network Waveform (HNW).

Provide Satellite Communications Instruction to Army 25S AIT and MOS-T students with specific emphasis on the DigitalCommunications Subsystem (DCSS). DCSS is further subdivided into the Promina Nodal System, Switch Multiplexer Unit / Compact Digital Switch (SMU/CDS) and the MIDAS system.

Perform as a team member of a mixed active duty military, government civil servant, and contractor training team providing instructional support services to the 15th Signal Brigade SATCOM Training Facility at Vincent Hall, Fort Gordon GA in support of Advanced Individual Training (AIT) and Initial Entry Training (IET) soldiers in the resident training courses required for the 25S Military Occupational Specialty (MOS). Provide training on various equipment and systems in the Common Core phase of instruction. Equipment includes the Multiplexer Integration and Digital Communication Satellite Subsystem Automation Systems (MIDAS), Promina Nodal System, Switch Multiplexer Unit/Compact Digital Switch (SMU/CDS) switching system, (ICC) Integrated Control Console and (EBEM) Enhanced Bandwidth Efficient Modem. Training includes various pieces of Test Equipment including the Fireberd 6000 and 8000. Prepare instructional programs in accordance with training or course requirements. Utilize such teaching methods as individual coaching, group discussions, lectures, demonstrations, and conferences. Supervise practical work carried out by students and assist them at the points of difficulty. Test Student to evaluate their learning progress and effectiveness of instruction. Maintain classrooms and course facilities; provide technical input for lesson plans and equipment; update training materials; ensure that safety policies and procedures are followed.

Responsible the maintenance and upkeep of the multimillion dollar Communications, RADAR, Navigation, and Computer suites used on the Wasp Class amphibious assault ships.

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of all SATCOM, VHF, UHF communications equipment at the largest communications station in the world serving the Pacific Command.

Responsible for the administration and supervision of the Operations Department which included maintenance and material management of all Operations Department equipment.

Attended NEC 1428 Small Combatant Communications Pipeline. Approximately 10 months. Consisted of NAVMACS V 2/3DAMAWSC-3 UHF TranscieverURT-23D TransmitterR-1051 / R-2368 HF Receivers

Provide instruction / leadership to intial entry sailors in Basic Electricity and Electronics.
